Hi guys, my name is puneet. I am from india. I am a regular gadget freak .I have been investing in computers , computer accessories and various electronic gadgets for last 10 years. I recently bought apple iPod first time in my life. As people know apple products are costly and one has to pay good amount of money to get them , i also waited for many years for this product, But it was the worst experience ever to buy apple product. When i bought and used it for the first time, i used panasonic high end earphones on it but latter found the earphone gone faulty moment i plugged it to apple ipod. Secondly i realize that apple ipod are incompatible with other wall chargers like Hcl and various others, it would only charge with apple original wall charger which for Rs 1200. Another thing i realized that you cant find free software for this product any where on internet accept in I tune. In i tune as well there arevery few free applications. Apple ipod doesn't comes with radio as well . The worst thing which happen to me was that i came ac cross with accident , little bit of water spill on my ipod as result it stopped working. I went to Google to find solution and finaly reset the ipod to factory setting. It started working but i soon realize the audio was missing and wireless option was greyed out. When i unplugged iPod from my laptop it stopped working completely. When took this product to repair center they informed me that there is some physical or water damage and it cant be repaired. I asked the engineer to replace the internal product which was faulty and i was ready to pay for that parts damage though it was in warranty. But apple engineer informed that the apple product doesn't get repaired they are just replaced. And if i replace this iPod i would net to pay Rs 11,000 thousand . I think this is a serious concern if apple product cant be repaired person buying this product should be informed about this information. Plus repair option or repair at service center option should be there as accident can happen to any one. In the end i like to say if you are planning to buy apple then think again as it might not be worth product for the amount you pay.
